March 17: St. Patrick’s Day

St. Paddy’s Day as an adult is extremely boring. St. Paddy’s as an adult during the work week is a level of dull that’s hard to describe.

What have I done all day? Homework.

NOTHING ABOUT ANY OF THESE ASSIGNMENTS SCREAM “ST. PADDY’S FUN.” (Though I have been extremely productive.)

I’m not even wearing green! I forgot it was St. Paddy’s entirely.

Back in university, St. Paddy’s was a holiday. I would get up and ready for 9 a.m., wear my finest green attire and make the most of the day.

Now I am an adult with things to do. I mean, I’m still going to have one drink because how can you not?

Ugh. Memories.
